The Tannery provides ideal additional private accommodation to Christopher’s Farmhouse during high season or as a separate cottage at other times of the year. This cottage provides the perfect romantic get-away, offering spacious, stylish accommodation for two that combines modern and period details.
On the ground floor you will find a sunny modern kitchen and a generous sitting room with dining area and dramatic stone fireplace. A hand built oak staircase takes you to a stylish bedroom with antique brass bed and beautiful high vaulted ceiling. The bedroom has additional 'wow' factor with a luxurious roll top bath as well as a separate shower. The Tannery has a private area of garden with outdoor table and chairs along with additional shared gardens and barbeque area. There is off-road parking for one car.
Just writing to say we had a great time in the cottage. It was the best one we have ever stayed in. I loved the bath!
East Budleigh is approximately 1 ½ miles from the sea at Budleigh Salterton – a pretty, unspoilt pebble beach whilst the sandy beach of Exmouth is approximately 10 mins drive. Easy access to countryside and coastal walks.
